Mayor Stimatze gave Mrs. Dickson's third grade class a tour of City Hall and led them through a mock council meeting in Council Chambers. What fun! Fire Prevention Week

It is Fire Prevention Week in the City of St. John! ! !

The St. John Volunteer Fire Department will be visiting the St. John Elementary School at various times through out the week. You may hear lots of sirens and honking as the children have a short ride IN the trucks (as we are getting a bit of rain today). Some of our firefighters and EMT personnel will be spending some time with the children teaching them about fire safety and fire prevention. This is an annual event for our students and fire department.

Thank you to the fire department and to the school administration for the coordinated efforts of providing this most important and potentially life saving information.

Brown Memorial Park is a wonderful place to explore. Come bring your picnic basket and anyone that you would like to share it with. This is a great place to engage in activities or sit in the shade with a good book and enjoy the outdoors. Hope to see you there sometime soon.
